The second phase of my teaching practice commenced on 27th October 2025. However, I did not get any class on that day. The classes officially began from 28th October 2025, marking the start of an enriching week of learning and experiences. On 28th October, I handled Class 9F during the first period and started a new chapter on “Buoyant Force.” The session began with an engaging bus section as an introductory activity to connect students with the concept. For Activity 1, I demonstrated an experiment using a bucket and a mug, helping students visualize the upward force acting on the object. In Activity 2, the difference in the weight of the mug inside and outside water was shown, and from this, the concept of buoyant force was derived. The class concluded with adequate closure and meaningful follow-up activities to reinforce learning. On 29th October, I again took Class 9F, and the topic was “Measurement of Force.” The session began by revising the previously learned concept of buoy...

Week 12

The twelfth week marked the final week of my teaching practice. On 13th october2025, I took a class for 9F on the topic imoulsive force ”During the introduction, I reviewed the students’ prior knowledge about force. In Activity 1, I presented different situations and asked the students to identify the effective forces acting in each. For the closure, an activity was given to reinforce the concept and assess their understanding. On 4th October 2025, I conducted another class for 9F on the topic “Newton’s Third Law of Motion.” The class began with a brief discussion revisiting the concept of Imbalance of Force. In Activity 1, I demonstrated the law using a balloon experiment, helping students visualize the principle effectively. In Activity 2, several real-life situations were presented to help them relate the law to everyday experiences. For the closure, students defined Newton’s Third Law of Motion in their own words, consolidating their learning. On 14th October 2025, I handled a...

The eleventh week of teaching practice began on 6th October 2025. On 7th October 2025, I took a class for Standard 9F on the topic “Impulsive Force.” During the introduction, I presented different situations and asked the students to arrange them, helping to check their prior understanding of force. In Activity 1, I showed a video related to kicking a ball and hitting an iron nail with a hammer, which helped them visualize the concept clearly. In Activity 2, I displayed various pictures and guided the students to identify instances of balanced and unbalanced forces. For the closure, the students’ understanding of the definition was assessed through discussion. On 9th October 2025, I conducted a class for 8D on the topic sonority of chapter “Metals and Non-metals.” During the introduction, I sang a short song to create interest and smoothly introduced the concept. In Activity 1, I provided different objects and asked students to identify those that produced sound. In Activity 2, I ...

The tenth week of my teaching practice began on 29th September 2025. The day was marked by the conclusion of the school Kalasavam, which made the campus vibrant with various cultural programs and performances. The following days, 30th September and 1st October, were declared holidays due to Vijaya Dashami, and 2nd October was a holiday in observance of Gandhi Jayanti. On 3rd October 2025, preparations and arrangements were made in the school for the Sub-Jilla level programs. As a result, no regular classes were conducted during this week. Though no teaching sessions were held, the week provided valuable exposure to the organizational aspects of school-level and sub-district programs, enhancing my understanding of school administration and event coordination.
