The fifth week of my internship provided opportunities to handle concept-heavy topics using activity-based learning and inquiry-oriented teaching models, along with active participation in co-curricular programmes. On 24th November 2025, I handled a class for VIII B during the third period on the topic “Reaction of Salts” from the unit Acids, Bases, and Salts. The lesson began with an introduction followed by a revision session to strengthen prior knowledge. Since the topic was extensive, three activities were included to ensure better understanding and student engagement. These activities helped in breaking down the concept and promoting active participation among students. On 25th November 2025, I took a Physics class for IX A on the topic “Feather and Coin Experiment” from the unit Gravitation. The lesson was planned using the Inquiry Training Model, which encouraged students to ask yes-or-no questions to arrive at scientific explanations. Students responded enthusiastically, a...

The fourth week of my internship focused on the use of varied teaching models and active student participation, along with involvement in several co-curricular activities that supported students’ holistic development. On 17th November 2025, no classes were allotted, and the day was utilized for observation and preparation. On 18th November 2025, I handled a class for VIII D on the topic “Alkalis” from the unit Acids, Bases, and Salts. The lesson began with a rapid-fire session, which helped in activating students’ prior knowledge and creating interest. For Activity 1, magnesium ribbon was given to students to perform the activity, encouraging hands-on learning. For Activity 2, different solutions were provided, and students were asked to identify the common ion present. Through this activity, students arrived at the concept of bases independently. A follow-up and enrichment activity was given to reinforce learning. On 19th November 2025, I took a class for VIII B on “Neutralizatio...

Week 3(

The third week of my internship was both academically engaging and enriching, offering opportunities to apply different teaching strategies and participate in co-curricular activities. On 10th November 2025, I handled a class for VIII D on Reaction of Metal Oxides with Water. The lesson was introduced through prior knowledge, followed by an experiment and a short video on soda water making to relate the concept to real-life situations. On 11th November 2025, during the 6th period, I taught VIII D on Formation of Acids from Non-Metals. A video-based introduction was followed by element card activities and a table completion task. The class was concluded using the Think–Share technique to reinforce learning. On 12th November 2025, I took a class for IX F on Hydrometer. Previous knowledge was checked using earlier experiments, and the concept was explained using simple illustrations related to buoyancy and density. On 13th November 2025, I handled VIII D on Bases using the Concept At...

The second week of my teaching practice began on 3rd November 2025. It was another engaging and fruitful week, marked by a variety of innovative teaching strategies and interactive classroom experiences. On 3rd November, I took a class for Standard 9F during the third period. The topic for the day was “Factors Affecting Buoyant Force.” The session began with a brief review of the students’ previous knowledge about buoyant force, ensuring continuity from the earlier lessons. For Activities 1 and 2, I combined the tasks using the Jigsaw Method to promote collaborative learning. The class was divided into two home groups, and each group worked on a specific subtopic before sharing their findings with others. The session concluded with a Think–Share–Pair technique, where students discussed their ideas in pairs and shared insights with the class. This method encouraged deeper understanding and active participation. On 4th November, I handled Class 8D during the sixth period, teaching t...
