The fifth week of teaching practice marked the completion of one chapter and the beginning of another, with students actively engaging in exploring the fundamental laws governing motion. On 11th August, I conducted a class for 9F on the topic Equations of Motion, which was the final concept in the chapter Equations of Motion. The introduction began with a riddle, creating curiosity and a lively classroom atmosphere. In Activity 1, students participated in a card-matching exercise, pairing terms and quantities related to motion. In Activity 2, the equations of motion were introduced and derived step by step. The session concluded with a short recap, ensuring students could connect the mathematical relationships with real-life motion. On 12th August, a new chapter, Laws of Motion, was introduced to 9F. The first topic, Resultant Force, was explored through first-hand experiences and real-life examples, enabling students to understand how multiple forces combine to produce a resultant ...

The fourth week of the internship was marked by active student participation, creative classroom strategies, and an emphasis on conceptual clarity through inquiry and activity-based learning. On 4th August, I conducted a class for 8D on the topic Chemical Formula. The session began with an engaging game using building blocks, where students constructed elements and compounds to visualize the idea of chemical combinations. Three activities were given during the session — the first focused on identifying the chemical formula of molecules, followed by introducing chemical formulas of elements and compounds. The class concluded with a consolidated closure activity that helped students connect all three concepts meaningfully. On 5th August, I handled two sessions for 8D.The first class was on tge topic  Chemical Equations, where the concepts of reactants and products were introduced. The burning of a magnesium ribbon was demonstrated to explain the practical aspects of a chemical r...

The week was filled with engaging and insightful classroom experiences that helped me refine my teaching strategies and deepen students’ conceptual understanding. On 28th July, I handled a class for  9F during the 5th period on the topic Velocity. The session began with checking students’ prior knowledge of speed. In Activity 1, students were given a problem that led them to discover the concept of velocity themselves. In Activity 2, I guided them to clearly understand the idea of velocity. The class concluded with a short review to ensure comprehension. On 29th July, I continued with  9F during the 1st period, where I revisited the concept of velocity to build continuity. During Activity 1, I showed the motion of a car along different paths to help students differentiate between uniform and non-uniform velocity. The lesson was consolidated effectively. On the same day, I took a class for Grade 8D during the 6th period on the topic classification of elements. Students were ...
