Week 12

The twelfth week marked the final week of my teaching practice. On 13th october2025, I took a class for 9F on the topic imoulsive force ”During the introduction, I reviewed the students’ prior knowledge about force. In Activity 1, I presented different situations and asked the students to identify the effective forces acting in each. For the closure, an activity was given to reinforce the concept and assess their understanding.

On 4th October 2025, I conducted another class for 9F on the topic “Newton’s Third Law of Motion.” The class began with a brief discussion revisiting the concept of Imbalance of Force. In Activity 1, I demonstrated the law using a balloon experiment, helping students visualize the principle effectively. In Activity 2, several real-life situations were presented to help them relate the law to everyday experiences. For the closure, students defined Newton’s Third Law of Motion in their own words, consolidating their learning.

On 14th October 2025, I handled a class for 8B on the topic “Non-metals.” During the introduction, the properties of metals were recalled to connect with the new concept. In Activity 1 and Activity 2, the characteristics and uses of non-metals were explored through observation and discussion. For the closure, students were given various objects and asked to differentiate between metals and non-metals based on their properties.

There were no significant co-curricular activities conducted during this week. Overall, the week concluded my teaching practice experience, providing an opportunity to reflect on my growth as a teacher and the effective classroom strategies developed throughout the practicum.
