Teaching practice(week 8):22/09/2025-26/09/2025
The eighth week of my teaching practice was marked by active classroom engagements, meaningful learning experiences, and vibrant co-curricular events. During this week, I handled various topics across different classes, integrating interactive methods and practical activities to enhance student understanding. On 22nd September, I took a class for 8D on the topic Thermal Conductivity. To begin with, I reviewed the students’ prior knowledge about malleability and ductility. For Activity 1, I provided different types of vessels to help students observe and identify how materials conduct heat, leading them to the concept of thermal conductivity. In Activity 2, the definition of thermal conductivity was discussed and clarified. During the closure activity, students were shown different objects and were asked to classify them as good conductors and poor conductors of heat. On 23rd September, I handled a session for 9F on Newton’s Second Law of Motion. The class followed the 5E model. I ...
