Week 3(
The third week of my internship was both academically engaging and enriching, offering opportunities to apply different teaching strategies and participate in co-curricular activities.
On 10th November 2025, I handled a class for VIII D on Reaction of Metal Oxides with Water. The lesson was introduced through prior knowledge, followed by an experiment and a short video on soda water making to relate the concept to real-life situations.
On 11th November 2025, during the 6th period, I taught VIII D on Formation of Acids from Non-Metals. A video-based introduction was followed by element card activities and a table completion task. The class was concluded using the Think–Share technique to reinforce learning.
On 12th November 2025, I took a class for IX F on Hydrometer. Previous knowledge was checked using earlier experiments, and the concept was explained using simple illustrations related to buoyancy and density.
On 13th November 2025, I handled VIII D on Bases using the Concept Attainment Model, where positive and negative examples helped students identify and understand the characteristics of bases clearly.
The week also included co-curricular activities such as a Judo wrestling competition, Vidyarangam activities, and a medical camp focused on students’ health. The internship week concluded with the Children’s Day celebration on 14th November 2025, marked by a special assembly and various programmes.
Overall, the week enhanced my teaching skills, classroom interaction, and understanding of holistic school activities.
